Inside the Design Team model: craft with discretion

Why we keep clients and specialists anonymous to each other — and how that protects quality, price and trust on both sides.

Inside the Design Team model: craft with discretion

GetJewelDesigns runs as a managed studio rather than an open marketplace. Clients brief the studio; the studio prices and manages the work; and a hand-picked specialist produces it under our Design Team programme. Throughout, the two sides stay anonymous to each other. That is a deliberate design choice, and it benefits everyone.

For clients: one accountable relationship

You deal with the studio, not a rotating cast of freelancers. Pricing is a single transparent quotation, quality is our responsibility, and your references and messages are moderated so nothing leaks out.

For specialists: craft over self-marketing

We source the briefs, handle the client, and pay per approved project. Talented designers get to focus on the work instead of chasing leads or negotiating rates.

Why anonymity matters

When both sides can quietly take the next project off-platform, quality and accountability erode and the studio that guaranteed them disappears. Keeping the relationship with the studio is what lets us stand behind every delivery — and keep prices fair on both sides.

It is an old idea, really: the atelier takes the commission, and the maker's hands stay behind the curtain. We have simply brought it to CAD.
